Last May, during the inauguration of its large boutique located in the Halles of Paris, Mikkel Grene, le PDG de la marque danois Søstrene Grene (“the Grene Sisters” in French) confirmed the ambitions of its specialized company in low-cost decor : take root in France and open around fifteen beautiful boutiques in the main cities of France according to the new concept “Retail for the Senses” developed by the brand.

A MarseilleSøstrene Grene has already taken action in relocalisant his store in the very busy (and commercial) Republic street “in a magnificent location which makes it possible to deploy the Retail for the Senses concept”, specifies the Danish brand which announced in spring have another southern city in your sights: Montpellier.
> The brand offers “Scandinavian-inspired” objects for every room in the house: bedrooms, living and dining room, kitchen, bathroom, balcony or terrace, office, etc.
Le Capoulié, an exceptional site
The case seems to be in the bag today since in Hérault, Søstrene Grene seems to have found the high-end location which fits the Retail for the Senses concept: the premises of Capouliéthis big building from rue Maguelonebetween Place de la Comédie and the Saint-Roch SNCF station, well known to Montpellier residents.
The City had decided to manage the future “destination” of this site itself with the stated desire to find an attractive new brand for the city center. Which should therefore be Søstrene Grene, even if no announcement is official for the inauguration or the signing of the contract with the City…
What can you find on the shelves of Søstrene Grene?
There you can find trendy and practical accessories for the home at low prices… Like a small wall mirror at €6.29, a bread basket at €2.78, 22 cm stoneware plates from €3.48, a wooden spoon at €1.54, etc. Søstrene Grene also offers designer furniture whose prices do not exceed those of another Nordic brand: bouclé fabric chairs at €84, a golden pine wardrobe (70 x 40 x 110 cm) at €248, solar lanterns at €5.48…
