Candidate for the deputy for the first time, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister Delegate for Agriculture and figure of Macronie, obtained 21.54% votes, Sunday June 30, during the first round of legislative elections in the 2e constituency of Pas-de-Calais. She is ahead of the candidate of the National Rally (RN), Alban Heusèle, who obtained 37.31% of the votes, and ahead of that of the New Popular Front, Alexandre Cousin (20.12%).

In office in government since 2018, Mr.me Pannier-Runacher held several positions (Secretary of State for the Economy, Minister Delegate for Industry and then Minister for Energy Transition for two years), before being appointed at the beginning of February to the Minister of Agriculture, Marc Fesneau, thus resisting successive reshuffles. For these early legislative elections, she was invested in the 2e constituency of Pas-de-Calais, while the outgoing MP, Jacqueline Maquet, 75 years old, has given up running for a fifth term.

On June 25, Mme Pannier-Runacher was one of the rare figures from the presidential camp to sign a platform in The world supported by some 220 political and civil society figures in which the latter pleaded for a withdrawal agreement to be made before the first round to block the far right during the second round, on June 7.
