Friday June 21, at Espace Jean Zay, 4 rue Jules Ferry in Chalon-sur-Saône, theGeneral Assembly of Grand Chalon Athletics (La Chalonnaise Section).
A general meeting which took place in front of an assembly composed of around twenty licensees in the presence of the two co-presidents Christophe Magnien and Christophe Thibertassisted by members of the office Celine Thibert (Secretary), Vivien Saulnier (Assistant Secretary), Sylvie Salagnac (Treasurer), Laetitia Guillemin (Deputy Treasurer)…
Christophe Magnien presented the club’s moral report in which he thanked the elected officials present from the city of Chalon / Saône as well as the various authorities such as the OMS of Chalon / Saône, Ufolep as well as the 182 licensees for the 2023/2024 season : both for the investments made as athletes, leaders, educators and even the involvement of the latter in the volunteering carried out at the meetings.
He added: ”Congratulations to the athletes of the Athletics, Off-Stadium and Nordic Walking school for the cohesion provided in the various sessions and events. Thank you to Ufolep for helping us to practice sports truly for everyone: especially with the Athletics school. Please note that the organization of ‘La Chalonnaise’ was a success, despite the disappearance of Adolphe Dubois, 48 hours before this 10th edition. We thank all the partners who were involved in this great Pink October cause. We will see them on September 29, 2024 for the 11th edition. A quick word also about the 2nd edition of the Trail des Vignes which took place last month and which was appreciated by a good number of practitioners: with more than 300 athletes counted! ”.
Following the moral report, the activity and financial reports were voted unanimously by the club’s managers and members. Finally, the forecast budget for the coming season was announced.
Finally, it remained to proceed with the renewal of the governing bodies for the 2024/2025 season. A Board of Directors which is now composed of: Co-Presidents: Christophe Magnien and Christophe Thibert – Secretary : Celine Thibert – Assistant Secretary : Vivien Saulnier – Treasurer: Sylvie Salagnac – Assistant Treasurer: Laetitia Guillemin as well as other members of the Board of Directors: Pascal Bourdon, Anaïs Breton, Kévin Magnien, Elisabeth Parisot and Marc Thomas.
