''Les Archers du Lizon'' is a local archery sports association in Saint-Lupicin, created in September 1985, and located on Chemin des Ecuriais. This sports club allows everyone to practice the sport of archery with passion in a friendly and secure environment. This friendly association is a meeting place for archery enthusiasts of all levels. With a constantly increasing number of members in recent years, the club confirms the growing enthusiasm for archery, happily boosted by the media coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

This Sunday, November 17, the Archers du Lizon hosted their traditional November competition, a key event in the sporting calendar of the club based in Coteaux du Lizon.
This 2024 edition brought together more than 91 archers, spread over two departures, coming not only from Jura, but also from neighboring departments.
The competition, qualifying for the regional and national championships, was held in the sports hall of the Collège du Plateau in Lavans-lès-Saint-Claude, where the shooting range was full, particularly during the start of the post- noon. It was a very interesting success, which rewards the efforts of the club's volunteers.
This is why Les Archers du Lizon are already meeting enthusiasts for their next indoor competition, scheduled for January 26, 2025, a few weeks before the French championships.
