Chancelade-Marsac had the opportunity to revive this Sunday with a late match at home. Wasted effort.
The success of AFP Limoges the day before had plunged the USCM into the relegation zone. Victory was therefore imperative against a Montmorillon team within their reach. But the start of the match was not exciting. The Chanceladais played low and couldn't get out of their 50 meters, without the Poitevins dominating.
On a deep pass and thanks to a big marking error, Oussama Kermiche nevertheless inherited the ball at 16m and dribbled past the Chanceladais goalkeeper. But he then struck next to the empty goal (11th). It was the only occasion of this first act played without great commitment nor much technical quality
The second half started without any more determination. But on an innocuous action in the area, a cross from Guillaume Savatier was cut at the near post by Kermiche. With his left foot, he deceived the local goalkeeper Eladji Dieng (0-1, 53rd).
We thought the match was underway but Montmorillon was content to manage his advantage. Chancelade-Marsac had difficulty being dangerous except for a nice raid from Zakari Wildani, pushed into the area without Mr. Coignac finding the action illegal. There was also an overflow from Aurélien Choury completed by a harmless strike. Far too little to hold a draw.
