Olivier Fayssat came out on top in the first round of legislative elections this Sunday, June 30, in the 6th constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône: the Les Républicains-Rassemblement National candidate obtained 38.27% of the votes.
In the second round, he will face the representative of the New Popular Front Christine Juste, who came second with 28.22% of the votes. Outgoing MP, Lionel Royer-Perreaut (Ensemble) finished only third with 25.13%. The three candidates will therefore face each other next Sunday July 7 in a triangular pattern.
What were the results of the 2022 legislative elections?
In the first round of the 2022 legislative elections, Lionel Royer-Perreaut, candidate of the presidential majority, came in first at 29.75% ahead of RN candidate Eléonore Bez at 23.89%.
In the second round, it was Lionel Royer-Perreaut who won with 57.89% of the votes, ahead of the RN candidate at 42.11%.
As a reminder, during the European elections on June 9, the National Rally list came first in this constituency with 36.47% of the votes, ahead of the LFI list at 13.45% then the Renaissance list at 11.62%. .
