A tsunami National gathering. Even stronger than in 2022, the party of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella achieved a historic score in France, during the first round of the 2024 legislative elections. In the Eastern Pyrenees, the RN largely won the four constituencies, with an outgoing MP re-elected directly.
Despite this large victory, certain municipalities in the department did not place the National Rally in the lead, here they are.
48.87% for the RN in the Pyrénées-Orientales
In total, the National Rally collected 118,478 votes out of 242,415 votes cast in the Pyrénées-Orientales, a historic overall score of 48.87%. The RN came out on top in 167 of the 220 municipalities from the Catalan Country, with sometimes impressive scores, like in Barcarès, with 63.14%.
Conversely, 59 communes in the Pyrénées-Orientales did not place the RN in first position. These are exclusively villages with fewer than 2,000 inhabitants. The New Popular Front came out on top in 57 of them. 1 village voted mainly for an independent candidate, and 1 other for a Renaissance candidate.

The RN has 0 votes in a village
As in the European elections and in previous elections, a village in the Pyrénées-Orientales stands out by not having given a single vote to the National Rally. This is Mantet.
Of the 32 voters who voted this Sunday, June 30, 29 slipped a New Popular Front ballot into one, 2 voted for Renaissance and 1 for the Catalan Front candidate.
