The coordinator of La France Insoumise won 67.5% of the votes in the first round in the fourth constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône and was therefore re-elected in the first round.

Return already assured to the Assembly for the leader of the Insoumis in Marseille. Outgoing MP for the fourth constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône, the party’s stronghold, Manuel Bompard received 67.5% of the vote. A score which allows him to be re-elected immediately despite the abstention rate, since to join the National Assembly in the first round, a candidate must obtain an absolute majority of the votes and at least a quarter of the votes of registered voters.

The coordinator of La France insoumise is ahead of the RN candidate Aurélie Quinquis and the Renaissance Malika Torchi who for their part gathered 15% and 11% of the votes respectively.

Since the creation of the New Popular Front, his campaign has been disrupted by accusations of anti-Semitism against his party. Recently, and despite a convincing performance in the first debate of the legislative elections against Gabriel Attal and Jordan Bardella, the wearing of a red triangle on his suit was used by LFI detractors for whom this anti-fascist symbol would be a “symbol of Hamas.” Bompard, like other Insoumis, has been sporting it for a long time.

As soon as they are published by the Ministry of the Interior, find all the results by constituency of the first round of the 2024 legislative elections on the Libération website.
