For the New Popular Front, 31 candidates were elected in the first round, such as Sébastien Delogu, Sandrine Rousseau and Olivier Faure. Ensemble has two candidates already elected. To be elected in the first round, candidates must obtain more than 50% of the votes cast, but also cross the threshold of 25% of the number of registrants. That is to say that 25% of voters registered on the electoral lists must have voted for the candidate in question.
The higher the participation, the greater the possibility of reaching the 25% threshold. In 2022, only five deputies were elected in the first round. After the election of Nicolas Sarkozy in 2007, 109 right-wing deputies and one socialist deputy had obtained their seat without going through a second round.
