Early legislative elections: outgoing MP David Valence (Ensemble) in the lead in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges

The results of the first round of early legislative elections have been announced in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, the main commune in the second constituency of Vosges.

The outgoing deputy David Valence (Ensemble), and former mayor, came first by collecting 36.08% of the votes, or 2950 votes. National Rally candidate Gaëtan Dussausaye is second with only 12 votes less, totaling 2938 votes. Which represents 35.93% of the votes. Julie Xicola, the candidate of the New Popular Front under the label La France Insoumise, is third with 21.48% of the votes for 1756 votes.

Far behind, Emma Gateau (Miscellaneous Right) won 3.49% of the vote, against 1.85% for Emmanuel Thiébault (Parti Lorrain), 1.16% for Jeanne-Françoise Langlade (Workers’ Struggle) and 0.01% for Lionel Chambrot (Peace and Degrowth).
