Intergenerational reception in Sciecq, a project led by the Department of Deux-Sèvres, won a national prize. The latter was presented on the occasion of the 106th congress of mayors to Coralie Dénoues, president of the community, and Béatrice Largeau.
The GMF-La Gazette Territorial Prize rewards an initiative that will make a difference throughout France.

This system, previously unprecedented in France, is based on the integration of young Unaccompanied Minors (UMAs) into the Sciecq autonomy residence managed by ACSAD.
It makes it possible to offer dignified living conditions to young people and to perpetuate independent residences threatened with closure due to their low occupancy rate. It also responds to the challenges of the Taquet law prohibiting the reception of unaccompanied minors in hotels following their recognition of unaccompanied minor status.
