La Ciotat, Martigues, Salon… participation is on the rise in the cities of Provence

HAS La Ciotatthe turnout at noon for this first round of the legislative elections is 36.74%, compared to 23.86% in the 2022 legislative elections according to the City. La Ciotat is part of the 9th constituency, which has nine municipalities.

The turnout for the first round of legislative elections for the city of Martigues is 34.54 %. HAS Salon-de-Provenceparticipation is also high: 10,804 voters or 33.01%. For comparison, in 2022 at 12 noon, it was 23.11%.

Like the figures in the department, participation in these legislative elections is sharply up at midday at Aix en Provencea city divided between the 11th and 14th constituencies of Bouches-du-Rhône. In the 11th, 34.18% of Aix voters went to the polls, compared to 21.18% at the same time two years ago. In the 14th constituency, the turnout in the commune of Aix already stands at 33.88%, while it was only 22.41% at noon, for the first round of the 2022 legislative elections.

HAS Arlesthe turnout rate stood at 35.10% at 12 noon, approximately 12 points higher than in the first round of the 2022 legislative elections (23.51%).

HAS Carpentrasthe overall rate is 29.29% in the city’s polling stations compared to 21.19% in the first round of the 2022 election. An increase of more than 8%.

Like the rest of Bouches-du-Rhône, Aubagne is no exception to the rule with an increase in participation at noon. The municipality, which is part of the 9th constituency, recorded 33.96% of voters compared to 23.40% for the 2022 legislative elections at the same time. That is an increase of 10.56 points at midday.
