It is always the Fête de la Musique, on June 21, that closes the AFT’s cultural season. We already know that it is Quebecer Alphonse Bisaillon, with multiple “rap-rock-disco-punk” influences, who will be the headliner of the Fête de la Musique 2025.

Several plays will be presented at the AFT in 2025, including thanks for comingfrom the Quebec company Le Complexe, a moment of reflection on mental health. In EuphrateNil Bosca evokes the difficulties of a high school student with a Turkish father and a French mother. Finally, Stanislas Roquette responds to his diabetes with poetry in Insulin and Magnolia.

“Dance is in the spotlight” in February, mentions Ketaki Rajwade, “with Riteby Myriam Allard, mixing contemporary dance and flamenco.”

We also find dance, as well as acrobatics, mime and theater, in shows for young audiences, including Survival of the living, in March. This “theatrical conference” on biodiversity was created by the biologist Julie Drouin and the actor Jonathan Morier.

The Alliance Française is also the destination for school outings. Last year, more than 950 elementary and secondary students benefited from cultural experiences in French. Groups of students can choose exhibitions with thematic activities, films, shows, workshops or games.
