On Sunday, November 24, the town of Dun (Ariège) hosts the Fête de l'Arbre en Douc, a celebration dedicated to fruit trees, nature and local crafts.

This is what the first edition of the Arbor Festival is offering, which will be held in Dun, in Ariège, on Sunday, November 24. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., numerous activities will be offered to the simply curious and to lovers of biodiversity.
A fruit tree fair
Throughout the day, a fair for fruit trees, small fruits, plants and ornamental trees will allow visitors to discover a wide variety of plants. The wood arts craft market will also bring together passionate local artisans. The opportunity to stock up on advice and enrich yourself!
Conference, workshops
Visitors will actually be able to attend a conference (11 a.m.-1 p.m.) on the physiology of fruit trees and the secrets of successful planting, led by Jérémy Barrault. In the afternoon (2 p.m.-3 p.m.), a practical planting workshop will be offered.
The youngest will not be forgotten: two sessions of a botanical workshop specially designed for children are planned at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Exhibitors
Finally, many nurseries, such as Pépinière Vieille Branche or Permafruit, as well as wood arts artisans such as Audrey Bruneau (basket maker) and Dimikev (wood and metal sculptor), will be present to share their experience and present their work. Local associations, such as Atout Fruit and À Pas de Loutre will be present.
A refreshment bar and a stand selling pancakes and pancakes from around the world will be available to visitors.
