National Day in Villeparisis (77): Republican picnic on July 13, 2024

The town of Villeparisis, in Seine-et-Marne, is preparing a large Republican picnic to properly celebrate the National Day, on July 13, 2024, with numerous activities for the whole family.

Following a prefectural decree banning fires, including fireworks and festive fires in Seine-et-Marne, the city of Villeparisis no longer offers its traditional July 14 bonfire, but has planned numerous activities for a National Holiday successful, and in particular a big republican dancing picnic full of animations! Head to the Little Marshes Stadium from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. to party differently, the July 13, 2024.

In a catering area, you can enjoy tables, chairs and deckchairs to allow everyone to share a picnic-style meal by bringing your own meal or enjoying the refreshment bar or food truck. All day long, there are activities for all ages, with climbing cages and other courses where you can have fun!

To get you moving on the dancefloor, a DJ intends to set the mood from 7 p.m. until night closing showcomposed of a play of light with spectacular visual and sound effects.

Take advantage of your stay in Villeparisis to visit this corner of Seine-et-Marne, by walking along the Ourcq canal, discovering the Saint-Martin church, a beautiful example of 16th century Gothic architecture, and crisscrossing the National Resistance Museum, not far away, which will allow you to get into the military atmosphere of the day!
