Around ten nurses and caregivers from Morestel hospital came in white coats this Friday, November 22 to support Aude, in front of the sub-prefecture of La Tour-du-Pin. This caregiver has been struggling for months to obtain her residence permit renewal.

The effect of the mobilization was more than rapid since immediately informed, the sub-prefecture assured the caregiver within the hour that she would obtain an extension receipt from this Saturday, while awaiting the official extension of her residence permit: “I’m so happy, this document will allow me to return to work. I couldn't anymore since this Thursday, my extension receipt had ended. I submitted my initial renewal request on April 24 and, since then, my file is still under review. I tried to call the prefecture, but it was always busy. I've been in France for 9 years, I've worked at Morestel for 5 years, my renewals have always been easy to do. »
