Several cellars flooded in rue Voltaire in at the start of 2024: the town hall and the city explain themselves. Between January and February, cellars were flooded on rue Voltaire and certain adjacent streets. The municipality denies any link between this situation and the renovation work in the city center.

« This is neither drinking water nor waste water, according to tests carried out by the water management service. » indicates the town hall which specifies that no breakage had been identified by the same authority with regard to the underground network.

As for Rue Grande, the work had to be resumed and was completed this Thursday. For the antiques trade, “ the source of the problem is located at Place d'En Glauch, on the other side of the Grande Rue: the problem is completely independent of this and the work carried out “. The town hall concludes that additional studies are still underway to understand the causes of these floods and the solutions to be implemented.
