After a first day of mobilization on Monday November 18, 2024, farmers returned to Isère to protest against a possible signing of the free trade agreement between the European Union and Mercosur.
This Friday, November 22, a snail operation is organized in the north of the department.
Here are the axes disrupted by the farmers' demonstration in Isère.
A procession on the A43
Unlike Monday, farmers are meeting in Bourgoin-Jallieu. It is from this town in northern Isère that the procession will set off towards the A43.
The tractors will carry out a snail operation in the direction Lyon-Grenoble for several kilometers, from 2 p.m. The farmers will exit the highway at La-Tour-du-Pin. They will park for several days in the Champs-de-Mars car park.
It is too early to estimate the number of tractors that will parade on the A43, but it is certain that motorway traffic this Friday will be greatly impacted.
