Journalist Adama Gaye announced this Wednesday that he had been summoned to the Criminal Investigation Division (Dic) at 4 p.m., without knowing the reason. On his personal account, Gaye informed his subscribers, calling for a wide dissemination of information to guarantee total transparency around his summons.
“I am SUMMONED TO THE Senegalese and Senegalese DIC, to the diplomatic community and to the religious community, to the press organs. I am summoned at 4 p.m. to the Criminal Investigation Division. Share the information so that no one is unaware. Share as widely as possible! I was not given the reason for this summons,” he announced.

The journalist, known for his analyzes on sensitive subjects linked to Senegalese politics and governance issues, did not specify whether this summons was linked to his journalistic work or to personal questions. Note that he spoke in recent hours on SEN TV regarding the death of the former Minister of Finance, Mamadou Moustapha Ba.
