The transfer of FC Metz striker Georges Mikautadze to AS Monaco is reportedly on track but there is still no agreement between the parties.
After a thunderous second part of the season with the FC Metz and a qualification for the round of 16 of the Euro with Georgia, Georges Mikautadze is causing a stir in the transfer window in Ligue 1. Indeed, according to information from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, theAS Monaco would have reached an agreement with the top scorer of Euro 2024 and would have entered into negotiations with FC Metz for the terms of the transfer. This information, however, was immediately denied by Foot Mercato, which states that no agreement has yet been reached between Monaco and Georges Mikautadze.
Aside from ASM, other Ligue 1 teams remain interested in the Georgian international. THE RC Lensthe Rennais Stadiuml’ABOUT as well as theOlympique Lyonnais would closely monitor the situation of George Mikautadze. As a reminder, the player wants to stay in Ligue 1 next season and has ruled out a departure abroad. Given his latest performances in the selection, we can imagine that the side of the native of Lyon should rise further.
