There was no association of rural mayors in Côtes-d’Armor.

It has now been done since Saturday November 16, 2024.

Mayors of municipalities from less than 3,500 inhabitants met in the council room of the town hall of Plumieux, near Loudéac (Côtes-d'Armor) in order to create this association.

The objective? Have a impact plus fort compared to larger municipalities.

The session was moderated by Alice Grinandresponsible for developing the national network of the association of rural mayors of France (AMRF).

During this interview, each mayor present highlighted the attractions of its municipality before viewing a message from Michel Fourniernational president of the AMRF.

The end of the meeting led to the development of the statutes of the very young association called “Association of Rural Mayors 22”, which makes it the 88e association created in France.

A board of directors was elected and Arnaud Carrémayor of the municipality of The Quiou is its president. Sandrine Juhelmayor of The Champs-Gérauxet Sébastien Quiniomayor of Plumieux, are its vice-presidents.
