Can you introduce yourself?

I am Sulyvane Borde, founder of the company Élan Humain SB, created on 1is October 2024. My journey began in the commerce and tourism sectors. Subsequently, I had the opportunity to enter the world of social work where I held positions with various populations: elderly people, people with disabilities and refugees. As part of these functions, I often collaborated with institutions, which allowed me to observe up close the difficulties these structures face.

What are these difficulties?

My experience has allowed me to see that institutions are too often overwhelmed by administrative procedures, moving away from their primary mission of human accompaniment and personalized support.

Can you decipher the concept of your business for us?

I wanted to create a company that places people at the heart of support, as evidenced by my slogan: “Let's give people back their place, not processes”. I was particularly inspired by the difficulties encountered in our rural areas where local services have often not been resumed after the Covid crisis. This leaves many people, particularly those without transport, in a difficult situation where getting to Jonzac or Royan becomes a real challenge. The lack of public transport also reinforced my desire to develop a “go towards” approach, to support each person where they need it.

What are the areas in which you operate?

My company operates in three essential areas: social, employment and digital. These three pillars correspond to the major needs observed in our territories. People living far from urban centers often face obstacles in all three areas. My ambition is to provide the necessary support so that everyone has access to the social rights and assistance to which they are entitled, support towards employment and training in digital autonomy through adapted workshops.

What is your main objective?

My goal is to provide help which, unfortunately, is lacking in our rural areas. For example, despite the efforts and deployment of Maisons services to compensate for the closure of certain public services, it is estimated that around 10 million people in France could not access the social rights to which they are entitled (sources: DREES) . My role is to try to help bridge this gap and provide access to quality support, without barriers.

Any last words?

For this project, I am lucky to be surrounded by valuable support. My mother, Angélique, and my partner, Dorian, encourage me without reservation, even coming to distribute leaflets alongside me during their days off.
