The Board of Directors of the University of Liège, meeting on November 20, appointed Julien Nicaise as administrator of ULiège. Since 2020, he has been the general administrator of Wallonie-Bruxelles Enseignement (WBE).
Julien Nicaise will complete the current mandate which has become vacant following the dismissal of Anne Giron, and which will expire on September 30, 2026.
He holds a degree in sociology (2001) from ULiège and holds several diplomas in public management, budgetary, accounting and financial processes in the public sector and evaluation of public policies (Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, ICHEC, UCLouvain, ULB , ULiège). ULiège also specifies that the new administrator holds the Director and Board Effectiveness certificates from the GUBERNA Institute of Administrators.
