The L’Avenue Électrique model, designed by Roulez Électrique in Trois-Rivières, is expanding. In addition to the downtown electric vehicle charging station, L’Avenue Électrique stations will soon be located in Saint-Roch-de-Mékinac, Lévis and Saint-Lambert.

The government of Quebec is providing financial assistance of $2,840,000 to the project, which represents a total investment of $3.8 million, via the Private Sector Support Program for the deployment of public fast charging stations.

“We are extremely proud to see our Avenue Électrique model expand across Quebec. Our vision is to make fast charging accessible to everyone and this investment is a big step forward in achieving this goal,” says Sylvain Juteau, President of Roulez Électrique.

In addition, an ultra-fast charging station capable of reaching 400 kW has been installed at the L’Avenue Électrique station in downtown Trois-Rivières. This is the first public ultra-fast charging station in Quebec.

“The terminal has four connectors. We also have a night rate, a little cheaper. We try to be creative with the use of space. In total, we do up to 100 recharges per day here. These can be carried out in 20 or 30 minutes or even over several hours,” mentions Sylvain Juteau, implying that another L’Avenue Électrique charging station could be built in the city center with a partner already identified.
