Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) invited 25 franchise and affiliate agency owners from across Canada as well as an accompanying person of their choice for a seven-night reward cruise in the Eastern Mediterranean, aboard the luxury ship Seabourn Encore.
“This select group of business women and men that I had the pleasure of accompanying during this dream cruise all stood out in 2023 with extraordinary sales performances. This cruise was our way of congratulating them and thanking them for their remarkable contribution, as a key player within our network,” says Karine Gagnon, General Director of TDC. “With the fast pace imposed by our daily activities, it is often more difficult to take the time to have sustained, more informed discussions. This direct feedback from our members is valuable to me, as executive director, as well as to the members of the TDC management team who accompanied the group”
Colette Girard, Director of Franchise and Affiliate Members, agrees. “Trips like these allow us to take the time to get to know our owners even better, to have the luxury of learning more about their motivations, their daily challenges, and their aspirations as businessmen and women,” emphasizes the woman whose Club Excellence Bravo trip was her first since her appointment last year. She continues. “Working in a relaxed atmosphere outside of the usual professional setting enriches our professional relationship so much, it helps me support them even better. It was especially motivating to have the chance to count among us members who joined the network more recently, for whom this was the first time participating in this reward trip. We also came full circle with some owners who will be retiring soon,” she adds. “This renewal of presence is undeniable proof of the dynamism of our network, which is renewing itself,” adds Colette Girard.
Greek Islands and Turkey
The winners arrived in Athens, on the wings of Air Transat, and were immediately able to board the magnificent Seabourn Encore, for a week marked by refinement, attentive and personalized service, and a multitude of extras throughout the stay, which have made this luxury cruise line famous.
The winning owners were treated to an exclusive sailing expedition around the island of Skiathos in the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. They were also able to choose an excursion of their choice, offered by Seabourn, to discover Bodrum in Turkey.
A remarkable evening of recognition
At the end of the stay, TDC organized a recognition evening, to highlight the journey and the exceptional contribution of these committed owners during the year 2023, an evening organized in the Grand Salon of the Seabourn Encore. “As we celebrate your achievements, we are aware that the path to excellence is not always easy,” emphasized Karine Gagnon. “Hard work, dealing with the unexpected, supporting customers who rely on you when no one else is around, plus the changing challenges of an ever-changing industry. In short, all of these things and many others are your almost daily lot. Thank you for your resilience, dedication and commitment. TDC is happy and proud to be able to count on standard bearers like all of you, who embody the values of our organization so well,” underlined Karine Gagnon.
In 2025, Peru!
TDC is pleased to announce that the destination of its Bravo 2025 Excellence Club trip for deserving agency owners will be Peru! “We are pleased to allow our owners who stand out for their best sales performances this year to participate in a recognition trip to Peru next year. I thank in advance our two partners, Transat and G Adventures, who will support us in creating this trip, in order to provide a memorable experience to our deserving people,” concludes Karine Gagnon.
