The Shaker will be back in front of his fans on Friday evening to welcome Trois-Pistoles GM Bérubé, for whom this will be the first and only visit to Rimouski this season.

Left-hander Émile Maisonneuve (1-2) will be the Shaker’s starting pitcher. In his last start last Friday, he pitched five good innings in a win against Rivière-du-Loup.

The challenge will be a big one for the young left-hander, because no team has scored as many points as the Basques team since the start of the season. Its average is 9.3 points per game. On the other hand, it allows 9.0. In comparison, the Shaker attack scores 7.1 and the defense allows 4.8.

For Bérubé GM, the probable pitcher will be veteran right-hander Anthony Fournier (0-1) or young Tristan Michaud-Thériault (1-3).

This match is very important for the ranking. The Shaker (8-4) is second in the standings, behind Kamouraska. He is ahead of Trois-Pistoles (5-5) by two games.
