Dn a few days from now, fans of Christmas markets will be in heaven: all over Belgium, the magic of Christmas will take over different streets and villages in Belgium.
Winter Fun in Brussels
Winter Wonders will be back for a 24the edition from November 29, 2024 to January 5, 2025. The program should be revealed later this month but we already know that there will be the traditional Christmas market, the Ferris wheel, an ice rink and a sound and light show on the Grand -Place.
The Christmas tree will be cut down later this month to reach the Grand-Place before the inauguration. It will be illuminated for the first time on November 29 from 6 p.m. and will be visible until January 5.

The Christmas village in Charleroi
Place de la Digue and Place Verte will bring the magic of Christmas to life from November 29, 2024 to January 5, 2025. On the first, visitors will be able to find the Christmas village, with its winter restaurant with a large covered and heated terrace while the Place verte is dedicated to the pleasures of sliding, with a 700 m semi-covered ice rink2.
The Christmas market in Liège
The Christmas village on Place du Marché and Place Saint-Lambert will resume service from November 29 to December 30, but that of the ice rink, Place de la Cathédrale, will remain open until January 4, 2025. The full program has been revealed and is available here. A toboggan run will also be present at Place Saint-Lambert. The Ferris wheel will run for the second year in a row using solar energy. New this year: the organizers have announced the presence of the Christmas pyramid, which will rise 12 meters high, on the Market Square. Under the illuminated tower, visitors will be able to taste currywurst and Alsatian pretzels.
This year, an indoor Christmas market will also be organized at Kinepolis Rocourt from November 29 to December 29.

“My Snow Heart”
The magic of the holidays will return to the heart of Mons for the 20the times. The very extensive program of “Mons Cœur en Neige”, which was presented on Thursday, will take place from December 7 to January 5, 2025 in three locations in the city: the Grand-Place, the Marché aux Herbes and Place Léopold, opposite from the station. The concept imagined and orchestrated by David Jeanmotte had enjoyed great success in 2023 with 905,000 visits recorded in the city center.
The 2024 edition will be inaugurated on December 7 at the “Magic Kiosk” on the Grand-Place by the local authorities before the launch of the first activities and events. Kenza Ameloot (Miss Belgium 2024) and Thomas de Bergeyck (RTL) will be the guests of honor.
Among the important points of the program, we note that the traditional Christmas market will be set up on the Grand-Place, where activities will be offered to all audiences. The Herb Market and its “luminous sky” will offer various theme evenings. A 650 m2 ice rink will be installed on Place Léopold. Numerous free strolling activities will also be organized in the shopping districts where the shops will be open on Sundays, December 15 and 22. A solidarity Christmas market is announced at the CPAS reception center on December 11, 12 and 13.
The Christmas market and its ice rink in Namur
The Christmas market with its ice rink and musical entertainment will return from November 29 to December 31, 2024. On the Place d’Armes, visitors will be able to enjoy a snack, gift ideas, entertainment but also a Swiss Chalet and its seasonal specialties. The ice rink and a carousel will be located on Place de l’Ange.

Antwerp captures the magic of Christmas
From December 6, 2024 to January 5, 2025, the city of Antwerp will be transformed into a winter wonderland. It will be held across the city, in several historic squares, including the Grote Markt and the Operaplein. On the Groenplaats, near the city’s cathedral, visitors will be able to find an ice rink, a mini-golf course, a Ferris wheel and a concert stage. There will also be rides for children.
