THE DEPARTMENT OF LANDES IS PLACED UNDER YELLOW WEATHER WATCH FOR SAFETY ISSUES HIGH WIND ALERT NOTICE
The Landes department is placed on yellow weather alert with security concerns for the “strong wind” phenomenon this Thursday, November 21 from 8:00 a.m.
On Thursday, the evolution and trajectory of the CAETANO depression remains uncertain. A worsening of the level of wind vigilance could concern Landes, Dordogne and Corrèze, in addition to the departments already placed on orange vigilance.
In the Landes:

– Rest of the department: gusts between 70 and 90 km/h.
Behavioral tips to adopt:
• I keep myself informed from the authorities.
• I protect my house and property exposed to the wind.
• I limit my travel.
• I do not take a submerged road, even partially.
• I watch out for falling trees and objects.
• I do not work on roofs.
• I install the generators outside the house.
• I locate my emergency kit.
