The EELV elected official questioned the Mayor of Le Creusot who explained the facts of the problem to him.
Monday evening, at the end of the Creusot municipal council, Pierre-Etienne Graffard, elected EELV, questioned the Mayor of Creusot about the interconnection of the TGV and TER lines at the Creusot TGV station:
“During the inauguration of the new Montchanin TER station last May, the Prefect of Saône et Loire relaunched the file abandoned in 2017 of the connection to the Coriolis station between the TGV and the TER. To this end, the Prefect invited all those concerned by their local executive functions to quickly form a working group on this need for TER TGV interconnection.
Mr. Mayor, can you inform us if this working group was formed on the one hand? and on the other hand because I have no doubt of a positive response given the interest of this connection for our territory, can you give us the progress of the file knowing that the remarks of the Prefect and therefore of the state constitute a tremendous opportunity for mobility and the economy of our city?”, launched Pierre Etienne Graffard.
The Mayor of Le Creusot, David Marti, did not fail to respond: “I remind you that interconnection was not included in the plan contract. During the debate on the VFCEA, we unanimously committed to the community to support the project. We were so committed that we financed a study, so that it would not cost too much for the region and the State. We were helped by the Grand Chalon, the department.
By forcing the community to bring this file back, we managed to force it to be included in the plan contract? It is the Regional Prefect and the Region who are competent. The Deputy said yes too.
