In addition to potential snow and ice, a national SNCF strike awaits users this Thursday, November 21, 2024. The largest railway unions have launched the call to denounce the dismantling of Fret SNCFleading company in France for the transport of goods by rail, with numerous station closures.
If the SNCF announced, on Tuesday December 19, “almost normal” traffic, it will not be that normal in Yvelines. An update on what awaits you.
RER B
On the southern part of the RER B, between Châtelet-Les-Halles and Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse (Yvelines) or as far as Robinson, only 3 out of 4 trains will run. On the northern part, from Gare du Nord the situation gets worse: 1 in 2 trains will run.
Interconnection at the Gare du Nord rest maintained.
RER C, line J and U
On lines J, U and RER C2 trains out of 3 will be provided throughout the day. Traffic will therefore be disrupted and it is advisable to take alternative routes.
Line N
The line most impacted this Thursday, November 21 will be line N. For this line linking Rambouillet or Mantes-la-Jolie to Paris-Montparnasse, 1 out of 2 trains will leave.
Île-de-France Mobilités recommends going to its application, to the Transilien site or to the SNCF CONNECT application before each journey.
RER A, ligne L et tramways
On the other hand, the RER A, line L as well as the tramway T11 and T13 will have “normal to almost normal» according to Île-de-France Mobilités.
As a reminder, a new renewable SNCF strike is planned from December 11, 2024.
