This Wednesday, November 20 morning, the farmers mobilized in Agen decided to split into three convoys which will leave the borders of Lot-et-Garonne to join other places of mobilization.
After a somewhat agitated night in front of the gates of the Agen prefecture, the angry farmers of Lot-et-Garonne led by CR 47 decided to break camp. Thus, three convoys were formed.
The first, led by José Pérez and Karine Duc, will reach Bordeaux by the national road, passing through to pick up reinforcements in Port-Sainte-Marie, Tonneins and Marmande. Around fifty vehicles, including 30 tractors, make up this main procession. At the time of writing, the precise destination of the convoy has not been communicated. Lot-et-Garonnais farmers should join their counterparts from CR 33. They are notably leading an action in front of the Leclerc purchasing center in Beychac-et-Caillau.
A second convoy led by Patrick Franken, vice-president of the Lot-et-Garonne chamber of agriculture, will reach Mont-de-Marsan. Finally, a third, smaller convoy headed towards Bressols near Montauban. The aim is to support the actions implemented in these places.
