MARJORIE TYROLER PREPARES HER OUTING AT THE MRC DE COATICOOK VOLUNTEER ACTION CENTRE
The rumor has been circulating for a while, but this time it’s a certainty. The posting for the position of Director of the Volunteer Action Center having been posted online, the news is now official. Marjorie Tyroler will leave her position next summer. Incidentally, a plan was established to ensure the transition. Marjorie Tyroler would be happy to hire her successor next fall. She would like to serve as his mentor for the first eight months. Especially since the months of October, November and December represent a very busy period, particularly with the planning of the Media Guignolée and the Christmas basket campaign.

When he was a kid, like all little Quebecers, he wanted to become a hockey player. But a few good hard checks quickly brought him back to a relentless reality. He had to think of a plan B. So he began to dream of a career as a sports journalist. Eventually he achieved his goal, but he didn’t limit himself to sports. At the age of 21, in 1983, he started at the newspaper Le Progrès as a journalist. A few years later, he accepted a position as correspondent for Coaticook at the daily La Tribune de Sherbrooke. In 1992, the position of editor-in-chief of the newspaper Le Progrès became available and he succeeded Lauréat Bélanger. This adventure spans a period of 17 years. Subsequently, he was successively a journalist at the Journal de Magog (Québecor) and the Journal de Sherbrooke (Québecor). In 2017, he made a slight change by trying the radio experience at CIGN FM. He then discovered an interesting medium which calls for immediacy and teamwork. This media allows him to inform, tell, popularize and entertain.
