Côte Landes Association: victim of cardiac arrest, Antonin, 15, is doing better

The Côte Landes Association club has just given, via a press release, news of its young 15-year-old winger, Antonin, victim of a heart attack this weekend on the Linxe field…

During the U16 opponent meeting the Côte Landes Rugby Association / LORC Gathering in Soustons at the Philippe Boulard stadium in Linxe, young Antonin suffered a cardiac arrest at the very end of the game. Taken care of by Coralie and Xavier (volunteer firefighters present on site), who carried out first aid actions, then by the Linxe firefighters and finally by the and SAMU, the 15-year-old boy was placed in a coma, before being airlifted to Bayonne hospital.

Thanks to all these interventions, Antonin was able to come back to life this Monday, November 18, as his club specifies. The whole team RugbyAmateur provides support to Antonin and his family during this ordeal.

We wish him to recover as quickly as possible, and congratulate all the people who intervened timely to help him.
