Marie-Amélie Le Fur, was the guest of France Bleu Sud Lorraine this Tuesday, June 24, after her visit to Nancy to launch a call for mobilization for the Paralympic Games.

Marie-Amélie Le Fur, Paralympic champion and president of the French Paralympic committee, was in Nancy this Monday, June 24 to the closing of the “Move!” event one month before the Olympic Games. She is the guest of France Bleu Sud Lorraine.

“We feel a thrill towards the Olympic and Paralympic Games, it’s important for us because we want to create excitement behind these Paralympic Games“, explains the former champion. She reminds us that there are still places in the stands: “this is an opportunity to change your outlook on sport and the disability situation“. Marie-Amélie Le Fur wants to take advantage of the Games to “making sport an obvious choice for people with disabilities“. The challenge is also to train the medical professions, clubs, leaders and National Education so that sport becomes part of the lives of people with disabilities.

Almost 80 athletes, dont la Lorraine Sonia Heckelare already selected with a projection of around 240 athletes for these Paralympic Games.
