Françoise Nuñez and Bernard Plossu exhibition: combined perspectives at the Cultural Institute of Mexico

Cultural Institute of Mexico
Until January 23, 2024

In the middle of winter, expose yourself under the burning skies of Mexico, through the combined perspectives of Françoise Nuñez and Bernard Plossu. The Cultural Institute of Mexico invites us on an intimate and poetic journey to the heart of this homeland of sun and colors. The exhibition, the first meeting of their works since the death of Françoise Nuñez in 2021, is a true photographic dialogue between shadows and lights. Together, they have sublimated this country, the cradle of an unshakeable creative complicity. Plossu, revealed by his photos from the 60s, offers here a declaration of love to this sublimated Mexico shaped by the eye of Nuñez, whose gaze and technique enrich this four-handed work. A visual poem in two voices, where Mexico resonates in unison.
