Starting this Wednesday, the Young Economic Chamber of Angers and its region has decided to set up events specially dedicated to future dads in Maine-et-Loire.
As indicated by our colleagues from The New Republicthese workshops called “les Pa’papotes” are offered completely free of charge and each last around 1h30. A series of three aperitifs is offered to best prepare for baby's arrival.
Access parenthood more peacefully
In a friendly atmosphere, over a drink, future dads will be supervised by a volunteer from the Young Economic Chamber of Angers and its region, as well as a midwife. Many topics will be covered, such as pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Three key moments when dads can feel left out or overwhelmed.
The idea of these workshops in the form of aperitifs is therefore, firstly, to inform these future dads, and to prepare them as best as possible for the upheaval they will experience so that they can find their place and get fully involved in this new life. These meetings are also an opportunity to build relationships between them in order to create a small community that can help each other if necessary.
