You lose memories

Mr. Rousseau led the CDPQ from 2002 to 2008. He left office in tumult, leaving behind a record loss of $39.8 billion, mainly caused by the significant holding of asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP). ).

Quickly replaced by Michael Sabia at the head of CDPQ, he then joined Power Corporation in 2009, after his voluntary departure from the management of the Caisse caused a lot of noise, in particular because of the severance pay of 380 000$ which had been granted to him.

Mr. Rousseau subsequently turned to teaching, notably at HEC Montréal. A year ago, he pleaded in favor of a framework agreement between France and Quebec on the energy transition.
