Former Metz senator and far-right deputy, Jean-Louis Masson, announced his support for the RN candidate for the 2nd constituency.

The former senator and deputy from Metz, Jean-Louis Masson finally chose his support for the early legislative elections. The one who has been, since 2021, regional councilor under the label “RN and related” in the Grand Est, calls to vote for Marie-Claude Voinçon, the far-right candidate in the 2nd constituency of Moselle, where he had been elected between 1978 and 1988 with the RPR.

The former right-wing man then represented the 3rd constituency between 1988 and 1997, then Moselle in the Senate between 2001 and 2023. “I would like to support the candidates who will be able to work collectively to get our country out of the situation in which the successive governments have submerged us,” explains the 77-year-old former senator.

Since 2004, Masson finally sat with the non-registered in the Senate before moving closer to the right of the right by supporting Debout la France in the presidential elections of 2012 and 2017 and in the European elections of 2019, then the far right with support for Marine Le Pen in 2022.
