Monday, November 11, a friendly atmosphere reigned in the village village hall. Around fifty guests responded to the municipality's invitation to the friendship meal. Bénigne Cunier, mayor of the town, thought of Michèle Pellieux, Gilbert Bracquet and Henri Lardenois, three villagers who disappeared this year. He also wished a good recovery to Odile Catherinet who unfortunately was not able to participate in this edition. He recalled Micheline Lardenois' 100th birthday, recently celebrated at the Langres nursing home where she now resides. This meal was also an opportunity to express the municipality's concerns about aging well while being happy in Saint-Loup. A request has been made to the Departmental Council of Haute-Marne to accommodate the autonomy bus soon. As for the works and events, the mayor will return to them in more detail during the greeting ceremony. After the friendship drink enhanced with succulent aperitif biscuits made by a local artisan, the game-based meal concocted by Saint Loubard delighted the guests. The place settings gave way to games in a friendly atmosphere until the end of the evening. Everyone was happy to see each other again. A new festive time is already planned with the arrival of a cabaret revue with the “Dancing Queens” and “Les Fauxsemblants”, at the village hall, Saturday November 30, at 8 p.m.
