After a demonstration in January 2024, anger does not diminish among taxi drivers. Taxis and ambulance drivers from Finistère and Morbihan plan to demonstrate on November 21, 2024, against the new convention of the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM), which should come into force in January 2025. This convention provides in particular for the establishment a single pricing, “the disappearance of the promotion of short journeys (less than 5 km)” et “of the hour of waiting”, as well as a “loss of 50% of the night rate increase, non-regulatory”.
The National Union of Taxi Industries also expresses its “great frustration with a roadmap that is progressing too slowly.”

To express its dissatisfaction, the National Federation of Taxi Craftsmen (FNAT) invites taxis and ambulance drivers from Finistère and Morbihan to gather, Thursday, November 21, at 6 a.m., at the Leclerc car park in Quimperlé. The convoy should head towards Quimper, before passing through Châteaulin, Landerneau, Saint-Thonan, and finally Brest, where it will block the Pen ar C'hleuz roundabout on one lane. The drivers should then head towards the Primary Health Insurance Fund (CPAM) in Brest, then head towards the sub-prefecture.
