the essential
In Haute-Garonne, Eric Ciotti's training has around a hundred members and is already targeting the 2026 municipal elections.
Former executive of the Republicans in Haute-Garonne, Nicolas Bonleux, who had long advocated for “the union of the rights”, took the plunge when Éric Ciotti announced his alliance with the National Rally during the June legislative elections. Since then, he has become the referent of the Union of Rights for the Republic (UDR), the formation created by Eric Ciotti.
And Friday evening, Nicolas Bonleux launched a departmental committee in Haute-Garonne by organizing a meeting with activists in Toulouse. The referent already claims “around a hundred members”. “This shows that we have good momentum,” he says. And the movement does not intend to stop there. “We are starting a campaign to structure our movement,” explains the man who is surrounded by Gaëtan Inard and Martin de la Chapelle in what currently constitutes the UDR office.
Municipal objective
Parliamentary attaché to Eric Ciotti, deputy secretary general of the UDR group in the National Assembly, Gaëtan Inard, also municipal councilor in Marquefave, was the candidate of the alliance between Eric Ciotti and the RN in the 7th constituency of Haute- Garonne.
Nicolas Bonleux does not hide the ambitions of the UDR: “prepare the municipal elections”, including in Toulouse where we can imagine an alliance with the RN. “We aim to bring together all the rights,” says Nicolas Bonleux who exchanges with the RN, Reconquête and Debout la France.
