An agreement was signed on November 15, 2024 for the Cantal Coordination Support System (DAC 15). It aims to offer enhanced support to health professionals and the medico-social sector, in response to the needs of people faced with complex situations.
Coordinated support for complex life journeys
Based on the Code of Social Action and Families, the Cantal departmental council, via its various directorates (Departmental House of Autonomy, Directorate of Social Action, Employment, Integration and Housing), is committed to helping people regain or develop their autonomy.
This includes situations of loss of autonomy due to age, disability, housing or complex social and family issues.
Objectives of DAC 15
The DAC 15 aims to:
– Strengthen the coordination of professionals for better complementarity in their interventions.
– Improve the quality of services provided by more precisely identifying the needs of people in difficulty.
– Simplify routes beneficiaries by optimizing exchanges between the competent structures.
A reinforced collaborative approach
Marie-Hélène Malvaux, director of DAC 15, and Dominique Beaudrey, departmental advisor responsible for employment, integration and housing, formalized this partnership through an agreement aimed at improving the responsiveness and effectiveness of interventions.
Tools such as consultation meetings, sharing of expertise, and home visits will be used to meet local needs according to Dominique Beaudray.
This project is part of the department's desire to support its citizens in difficulty and to promote solidarity actions. By pooling skills, the system intends to offer solutions adapted to complex social and medico-social problems.
