The 30 contenders for the crown began their stay in West Africa this weekend by swaying their hips as they exited the plane.
The adventure begins for the 30 regional candidates for Miss France 2025. Summoned last Thursday to Paris for a photo shoot and a press conference, they also had the surprise of participating in the “Star Academy” bonus on Friday. After three intense days, they flew this Sunday, November 17 to Ivory Coast where their preparation trip takes place.
All dressed in the same way (it's tradition) with black leggings and a long off-white sweatshirt bearing the Miss France logo, the young women arrived at the airport with their (very) numerous suitcases and did not go unnoticed. They traveled alongside Ève Gilles (Miss France 2024), wearing a dazzling red outfit, but also beauty queens Maëva Coucke (Miss France 2018) and Diane Leyre (Miss France 2022), who will ensure, during the stay, catwalk and eloquence masterclasses.

An impressive and warm welcome committee awaited them on the tarmac with officials, children, a brass band but also singers and dancers. A festive and lively atmosphere which the candidates could not resist for long and began to dance with their hosts.
Particularly Jade Fansonna, Miss Guyana, who started a wild dance and swayed her hips to the rhythm, soon joined by her sisters like our colleagues from Gala and of Paris Match showed it in videos. Even Ève Gilles and Cindy Fabre, director of the national competition, started a few dance steps.
