He carried out these robberies between December 12, 2021 and April 1, 2023 according to the following modus operandi. He arrived with his accomplices, hooded, gloved, dressed in black and carrying weapons when the targeted businesses were closing or at the start of the night. In order to facilitate the hasty departure or not, the entrance door was blocked with a paving stone, a brick or a carpet. We weren’t doing lace. A student who was making ends meet or an employee had a gun pressed to the head in order to persuade him/her to do so without discussion, including handing over the money from the cash register or going to the annex where it was supposed to be find a safe.

It is almost an anecdote that we report the beating of three young people by Billel and four of his friends on April 2, 2024 in Wavre. For this latest misdeed, the prosecution demanded 8 months in prison for him even though he had just requested seven years in prison for the robberies and extortion. For the beating, the other perpetrators should be punished with a work sentence of 80 hours (two), 30 and 36 months for the other two. The court took the matter under advisement.
