Tractors are returning to the streets! Nearly a year after last winter's mobilizations, anger has not subsided in the agricultural world. The FDSEA and Young Farmers are therefore calling for new days of action.
A Avignon, the two bridges which connect Gard and Vaucluse are blocked this Monday morning. Several dozen tractors prevent cars from using the Europe Bridge as well as the Daladier Bridge (and its Gard part, the Kingdom Bridge). The blockage is expected to last all day, until 6 p.m..
Farmers also want to leave in convoy in Avignonduring the day. They hope to be received at the prefecture.

The FDSEA and Young Farmers demand rapid and concrete measures to get out of the agricultural crisis. They denounce salaries that are too low and unfair foreign competition. They also strongly oppose Mercosur, the free trade treaty currently being discussed by the European Union and certain South American countries.
The town hall of Villeneuve-lez-Avignon warned as early as Sunday midday of upcoming traffic difficulties between Gard and Vaucluse.
