The new city contract “Neighborhood Commitments 2030”, which covers the period 2024-2030, was adopted on February 8. In particular, it sets three objectives in favor of the development of priority neighborhoods: simplify and accelerate public action by scheduling the deployment of actions over time – ensuring quality responses to residents and strengthening the mobilization of stakeholders and residents.
Several concrete actions are the subject of funding from Niort Agglo. In total, €110,530 is allocated in favor of employment and economic development
for the benefit of the actions of 8 structures:
- Asfodep: return to employment for long-term unemployed people, RSA beneficiaries and young people without qualifications €4,250 and €3,830 for assistance in defining a professional project €3,830.
- Local mission: support towards employment via meeting employers; mental health ; the promotion of youth projects and career choices €13,000.
- AGE2C: second chance school €40,000.
- AIN: return to employment for long-term unemployed people, RSA beneficiaries and young people without qualifications €7,500.
- MIPE: return to employment for long-term unemployed people, RSA beneficiaries and young people without qualifications €14,000.
- ADIE (Association for the Right to Economic Initiative): encouraging entrepreneurship in neighborhoods €17,500.
- CCAS DE NIORT: promoting access to childcare for people in integration €5,450.
- CORAPLIS: mobilize and support the (re)learning of French in Niortais €5,000.
At the same time, €203,431 is in favor of associations (CSC, Red Cross, Sol’Niort, Ufolep, Volley Ball Pexinois, Niort Rugby club, Public writing service, Prevention mission
specialized, Circus on stage, En Vie Urbaine, Roka, Vent d’Ouest, Ateliers du rondpoint, Restos du coeur, Aman, Compagnie Ego, Matapeste) and structures (CCAS Niort, Infodroits) working for social cohesion in the three priority neighborhoods .
