Blue, black, red, yellow and green: thanks to schoolchildren, Place Stanislas in Nancy has taken the colors of Olympism this Monday afternoon. A little air of the opening ceremony of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, in the presence of Marie-Amélie Le Fur, Paralympic champion and president of the French Paralympic and Sports Committee,

A total of 3,000 schoolchildren arrived in groups in the colors of the five Olympic rings. They performed a clapping before wiggling during a giant flash mob. The children also slipped postcards into mailboxes installed around the statue of Stanislas. Postcards intended for athletes and which will be given to them (symbolically) by Marie-Amélie Le Fur. “The Olympic and Paralympic Games make us think of helping each other, playing, participating and encouraging each other”, slips one of the students. Because the most important thing is to participate of course!
