What will the City of offer for this 2024 version of the end-of-year celebrations which starts on November 23 and ends on December 24? “New features,” announces in the preamble Thierry Ghezzi, deputy “City heart action and commerce”. Saturday November 23. Inauguration of the Christmas marketl on the square in front of the town hall (6:30 p.m.). Lighting of the big tree, strolling show, ice rink entertainment and visit to the Christmas market. Then from 1is December (6 p.m.), mapping on the facade of the town hall telling the story of Santa's candy factory which breaks down and is saved by an elf (rebroadcast at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays). This same elf will always light up the Advent calendar on the town hall windows. No raffle this year however.

Place Anne-Grommerch, the enlarged ice rink (26 m by 13 m) will be easier to access with two entrances (€3). Six chalets will brighten up the place.

At Place Au-Bois, the little train is making its return, with Santa's chalet alongside, a new feature, a gourmet stand. Several frozen bubbles will dot the pedestrian plateau. Place Claude-Arnoult, good smells will emanate from the 10 chalets, surrounding the pagoda and its welcome roof in case of bad weather.
