If I had to give just one piece of advice, keep your eyes wide open and your head in the air because that’s where it all happens, 30 meters up. During 30 minutes, Enlightment immerses you in a moment outside of time, with a single point of reference: the seasons.

Thus, several animated paintings are projected on the ceiling and walls of the Palais de la Bourse, which will host this immersive exhibition until September 7. To enjoy the experience imagined by the entertainment company Fever and the Swiss collective Projektil, several possibilities are available to spectators: beanbags and chairs to lie down or sit down, alone or accompanied, anything goes.

An innovative technological device

Once you are seated, the show can begin. Atmospheres, colors and nuances then appear which vary according to time cycles. Sometimes the impression of finding yourself in the heart of a kaleidoscope, in a forest, in the ocean or even in a Kandinsky painting, you almost forget that you are in Marseille.

To accompany everything, a soundscape signed Vivaldi resonates, with The four Seasons in majesty. Daydreaming is guaranteed and the bet is successful. This light and sound installation also arouses a wide range of emotions.

Behind these spectacular projections lies a challenge of permanent adaptation: taking into account the architecture of the Palais de la Bourse. A scan of the interior of the building made it possible to model the space in 3D, so that the projections fit all the architectural elements of the place. As for the projectors, they are installed in the most suitable locations in the main hall of the Second Empire building, in order to offer an optimal experience to visitors. Who will not need any knowledge of art to appreciate the pleasant journey offered by Enlightment.

“Enlightment”, until September 7 at the Palais de la Bourse, in Marseille (1st). Thursday to Sunday, from 5 p.m. Price 16 euros, tickets on: eonariumexperiences.com
