It is a victory without possible dispute. For this Landes derby relocated to , Dax showed itself to be much superior to Mont-de-Marsan this Saturday at the end of the eleventh day of Pro D2 (40-11). An overwhelming success, the third in a row in this poster, which allows the Dacquois to return to five points from the top 6.

What we liked

  • Three in a row for in the derby

It’s definitely a successful poster for Jeff Dubois’ men. Since their return to Pro D2 Last season, the Dacquois still did not lose in the derby. The players of theUSD definitely seem more than motivated when it comes time to face their neighbors from Mons after securing their third victory in a row this Saturday.

  • Noah Nene in his garden

This match took place at the Jean-Dauger stadium in Bayonne and, yet, Noah Nene was like home. The three-quarter center loaned by the French Stadium was in all the good shots with an assist on Dacquois' first try, a breakthrough which could have been a winner before the break and finally a try on a solitary exploit of more than fifty meters at the end of the game.

  • Romuald Séguy infallible artillery

Left, right, near, far… Romuald Séguy did not experience the slightest failure in penalties against Mont-de-Marsan. The scorer of Dax achieved a superb 100% against the posts (8/8) with some rather difficult attempts and scored 20 of Dacquoi's 40 points for one of the biggest corrections in favor of the USD in the Landes derby.

What we didn't like

  • Technical waste and indiscipline go bad together

The Montois Stadium ultimately only competed during the first five minutes of the game. The players of Patrick Milhet then lacked precision on several occasions and made too many mistakes to be able to hope for anything from this meeting. Fourteen penalties conceded, a yellow card and a red card in the end for overwhelmed Montois.

  • Fortuin: two minutes and then leaves

This is a gesture to avoid on rugby fields, even more so when you have just entered the game. Substitute on the match sheet, Aston Fortuin came on in place of Myles Edwards in the 51stAnd minute. Less than 120 seconds later, the Mons second row made a tackle far too high on an opponent without ever making the effort to duck. The 28-year-old received a red card, leaving his partners outnumbered for the rest of the game.
